College and Career Resource Center

Welcome

The College and Career Center can help with finding information about colleges, Financial Aid, Scholarships, and part-time jobs. Students of any grade level should know they are welcome to the services that we offer.  

Throughout the year we will be scheduling college visits, college application workshops, information regarding our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) and college personal statement writing workshops. 

Testing Accommodations

College Board (PSAT, SAT and AP exams) testing accommodations must be submitted via your school. This process begins with submitting this form to the school.

ACT testing accommodations are submitted via the student's family with school site approval. This process begins on the ACT website.

• Students with IEPs should contact your case manager to begin the process for testing accommodations on College Board and ACT tests.
• Students with 504s should contact your guidance counselor for testing accommodations on College Board and ACT tests.

*Note Wilcox High School's deadline for accommodations requests is two weeks prior to the published deadline date from College Board and ACT to assure the deadlines can be met. 

Representatives from Visiting Colleges

Wilcox is now using Rep Visit. If you are interested in coming to Wilcox we are happy to have you. Please sign up through Rep Visits. If you should have any questions please always feel free to call me or e-mail me. 

Also in the spring we are hosting a small college fair, look for that date and time on Rep Visits. We use this fair for our rising seniors, current juniors so that they can discover colleges and help to guide when making choices for their college list.
